Flexsteel is a furniture company over a century old, based in Dubuque, Iowa. Most Flexsteel Furniture is Made in Dubuque, Iowa 

The Flexsteel headquarters and primary production plant is in Dubuque, Iowa, where they have been based since 1936. A large portion of Flexsteel’s primarily domestic product lines are made in the Dubuque plant, which is a combination of both factory production and hand assembly and customization.  

Flexsteel is fully vertical, meaning they source and produce their own assembly parts and assemble the furniture all within the United States, and mainly in the Dubuque, Iowa plant. 

The 9 US States Where Flexsteel Furniture is Made 

While Dubuque may be Flexsteel’s headquarters, they also have production locations in eight other states for a total of nine United States Flexsteel production houses. If you buy any but the Latitudes or South Heaven lines, then you will assuredly receive furniture made in the United States from one of these nine locations.

Flexsteel Has Additional Factories in Mexico and China 

In addition to Flexsteel’s United States headquarters, they have also expanded production to China and Mexico. These two plants are responsible for production of the Latitudes and South Heaven lines respectively. 

Flexsteel Latitudes  

The Flexsteel plant in China is responsible for producing the Latitudes line of couches, sofas, and armchairs.  

Flexsteel South Heaven  

Flexsteel’s Mexican plant produces the South Heaven line of furniture, which includes a wider selection than the Latitudes line.
