About Leisure Lawns Collections

It all began in 1987, when a young Amish farmer from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, sought to supplement his income. He began handcrafting wood lawn furniture, and before long, Leisure Lawns Collections was born. To accommodate increasing demand and a desire for wood alternatives, the New Holland, PA-based manufacturer introduced high-density polyethylene furniture, known as poly furniture, almost 15 years ago.

Today, the company is best known for its Leisure Lawns Collection, which features a variety of poly furniture that offers unrivaled strength and longevity. Much of Leisure Lawns furniture is produced with quality natural wood in the long-standing Amish tradition. For its poly furniture, the manufacturer utilizes an eco-friendly approach that provides a more sustainable, greener choice. The plastics used to create these furnishings have been recycled from bottles, containers, jugs, and other consumer products that would otherwise be sent to local landfills.

The plastic is then sterilized, melted down, and transformed into a substance known as poly lumber.
